Birds

Info on North Carolina Birds.

Birds can cause millions of dollars’ worth of property damage each year. They often nest on roofs, in rafters or in gutters. They can destroy gardens or yards, and spread disease, not to mention the noise problem they create and the droppings they leave behind. Heritage Wildlife has proven methods to remove birds from structures and prevent further infestations.

Exclusion and Deterrants

Each year thousands of dollars are spent to clean up after the mess made by urban pest birds.  Pest birds such as pigeons, crows and gulls love to use building surfaces to land, roost and build their nests.  Bird feces is acidic and will quickly erode building materials; carrying any of 60 transmittable diseases.  To prevent the spread of disease and prevent property damage, it is important to install some sort of bird control system before the bird problem gets out of control. We are certified through Bird B Gone. We have many different methods to help solve your bird problems.

Nesting in Dryer vents.

Dryer vents are a common place for starlings to build their nests. The telltale signs are bits of grass and debris sticking out of the exterior vent, chirping sounds, and sightings of birds coming and going from the vent opening. This is not only a fire hazard, but these birds also carry diseases and pests that can be harmful to your home. We make sure to effectively remove all debris left by birds and place a special covering over all vents to prevent them from returning to your house.
